The skateboard park, is managed by PARC, under licence with School District No. 64. The volunteer effort by the Skateboard Society, Commission and the Lions Club members, as well as kids and parents, to put in the skatepark was staggering. The tax dollars invested in this amazing facility was a very small part of the total contributed.  A true community project.
