Salt Spring Saturday Market 

The Salt Spring Saturday Market begins on April 3 from 9am - 4pm with limited capacity. Operating with safety protocols in place, the market will offer farm produce, prepared foods and non-food items that meet safety standards set by the Provincial Health Officer. Artisan vendors are now permitted under the March 18, 2021 Provincial Health Orders. Our market follows the provincial health guidelines for vendors concerning food prep and selling of high risk and low risk foods.

Salt Spring Saturday Market opened with limited capacity for both vendors and visitors with safety protocols in place on April 3.  Vendor sales were significantly impacted with travel and other restrictions in place this year. With travel restrictions lifted in step 2 we have seen a steady increase in visitor traffic and vendor participation. As we enter step 3 of the reopening we will be increasing vendor and visitor capacity and making masks optional while following our updated safety plan.  

The Salt Spring Saturday Market has been referred to as a 'small community’, therefore, we ask that you do not attend the market if you are sick or required to self-isolate.


Please remember to park in the designated parking area only: 262 Rainbow Road, Rainbow Pool.
