As a precaution, the CRD has increased disinfectant dosage in treated water until the total coliform levels in the raw water return to normal. As a result, there may be a slight chlorine taste and odour in the drinking water. The water remains safe to drink. Read more >>
The CRD Board has approved keeping the 2017 wholesale water rate at $0.6375 per cubic metre, effective January 1, 2017.
