Electoral Areas Recycling Depot Status

As of April 23, here is the status for the Electoral Area Recycling Depots:

Salt Spring Island

Operating with modified procedures in place. Expect delays and limited items accepted. See their website for details.

Pender Island

Operating with reduced hours which are Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm only. Expect delays, modified procedures in place. See their website for details.

Mayne Island

Operating with reduced hours which are Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm only. Expect delays as modified procedures are in place.

Galiano Island

Trial reopening - The Recycling Depot will be open for a trial run this Saturday April 25 from 9am - 3pm for residents and homeowners only. Expect delays as modified procedures will be in place. See their website for details.

Saturna Island

Trial reopening - Will open Wednesday, April 29 for a three consecutive Wednesday trial. Hours will be 10am - 2pm unless raining. Expect delays as modified procedures will be in place.

Salt Spring and Southern Gulf Islands

Residential packaging and paper product recycling on Salt Spring and the Southern Gulf Islands is provided by local community associations under contract with the CRD.
