Summit Description
One Region - the Collaboration Effect brought together arts champions from across the capital region to reflect on the cultural moment we create and work in. The event was an opportunity for artists, cultural workers, municipal staff and elected officials to share experiences and connect. Read the Arts Champions Summit program (PDF).
Taking Action
The input harvested from the Summit activities will inform the Arts & Culture Support Service Strategic Implementation Plan.
The CRD committed to the following outreach actions:
- Relaunch of the IDEA Grant Program.
- Host Arts Champions Speaker series.
- Create regional guides to arts organizations and public art.
- Create regional resource list and impact data report.
- Design information sessions to support organizational development.
