Description
The CRD is repairing the instream piers of the Veitch Creek Bridge on the Galloping Goose Regional Trail near Manzer Road. CRD staff assessed repair options with engineers and determined that repairing the instream piers on the bridge is the most cost-efficient and beneficial solution. The repairs are anticipated to be completed in early February 2023.
The bridge will remain open during the repairs, with intermittent, no more than hour-long full closures between the hours of 10am-4pm.
Visitors should expect disruptions, and cyclists will need to dismount to pass through the work zone. The bridge may not be suitable for horses during this time. Please follow the directions of crew and use caution around equipment.
