With nearly 1.6 million visitors to the park annually, new washroom facilities are required at Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park to meet service demands and minimize impacts to the environment.

New washroom facilities are being built at the Filter Beds, Beaver Beach and Eagle Beach beginning this spring. The new washrooms will be plumbed with flush-toilets. Each will be fully accessible, with natural lighting through skylights and energy efficient LED lighting.

Portable toilets are at each site for park visitors during construction. We ask that visitors use caution around equipment and crews. There will be noise and dust in these areas during construction.
