Computers and most other electronic products are managed through the province-wide Encorp Return-It product stewardship program. You’ve already paid for this service with an environmental handling fee (EHF) at purchase. A full list of what is accepted and free depot locations is available on their website.

How do I go green?

Make your old electronics last longer by keeping up with product updates and/or refurbishing. Repair or replace parts rather than an entire system.

Donate electronics that still work to a charity, community group, school or church (keeping in mind that these groups can’t use items that need to be repaired) or offer it for free online through social media or an online classifieds service. Consider repairing items whenever possible and refilling ink/toner cartridges instead of purchasing new ones.
