Regional Parks provides opportunities for you to be involved in the preservation and enjoyment of regional parks and trails with positions for naturalists, restoration volunteers, park stewards and trail ambassadors. There are also opportunities for groups to help with one-time, short-term projects such as park clean-ups, invasive species removal and plantings.
No Experience Necessary
We provide training, support, a fascinating and beautiful work environment and a great deal of appreciation. You provide your time and enthusiasm.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Naturalists
Volunteer in the Nature Centre at Francis/King Regional Park in Saanich. Naturalists welcome, engage and help build awareness, understanding and appreciation of the natural and cultural environments in regional parks and trails. The commitment is a four-hour shift on weekends monthly year round.

Participate in removing invasive species and restoration of natural habitats within regional parks and trails. Commitment is for one three-hour session. Sessions are offered throughout the year.
