Island View Beach Regional Park (Central Saanich)
Island View Beach is one of the premier autumn birding locations
in the region. Join a CRD Regional Parks naturalist to look for
hawks, songbirds, sea ducks, loons, and more. Dress for the
weather and bring binoculars, if you have them.
Meeting place: Meet at the picnic shelter off Homathko Road.
Trail Description: 1.2km walk on compact gravel trail, no incline. One bench along route. Accessible washroom at main parking lot. Accessible parking spots in main large parking lot. Wheelchair accessible.
Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
