The work comprises of the supply of all labour, equipment and material for the painting of all exterior surfaces, including but not limited to: siding, block and stucco, soffits, garbage enclosures, balconies, decking, trim, planters, concrete, handrails, posts, light standards/bollards, miscellaneous metals, doors and frames (including garage overhead doors), pipes and conduits, vents and covers, standpipe covers, storage boxes, metal flashings, fascias, barge boards, lattice, fencing (privacy and perimeter), site signs, gazebos, bridges and all other previously painted surfaces, including pre-finished surfaces. Parking lines, symbols and items with integral finish such as anodized aluminium windows, vinyl siding, metal soffits, down- spouts and gutters are not part of this contract unless specifically mentioned below.
Specifications, Drawings, Contract Documents, and Tender Form will be available for download from the CRD website by registered contractors; and at the Capital Region Housing Corporation, 631 Fisgard Street, Victoria, BC on or after May 1st, 2023.
Copies may be obtained from the Capital Region Housing Corporation, on payment of $25.00 (GST included) for each copy requested, the sum of which is non-refundable. Digital copies may also be downloaded from www.crd.bc.ca/about/contracts-rfps/ and at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.

The Mandatory Site Meeting will be held at “SPRINGTIDE” 270 Russell Street, Victoria, BC on, Wednesday, May 24th, 2023, at 10:30 AM. The meeting will commence on the sidewalk in front of the driveway entrance on Russell Street. Attendance to the meeting will close at 10:35am. Other buildings may follow, if requested, however attendance at the additional buildings is not mandatory.
Sealed Tenders, plainly marked on the envelope “Tender for ITT 23-214 EXTERIOR PAINTING AT THE BIRCHES, CASTANEA, ROTARY HOUSE, AND SPRINGTIDE” will be received by the Capital Region Housing Corporation at their offices at 631 Fisgard Street, Victoria, British Columbia up to 3:00 p.m. local time on June 2nd, 2023, at which time they will be opened in public.
