Hygiene & Personal Care Products

Personal hygiene products are used in our day-to-day life to care for our skin, hair, and teeth. If you have products in good condition, you can try and find them a new home before tossing them out. In the end, we all need personal hygiene products!

How do I go green?

The key to creating less waste is to consume less. Only buy the necessary personal hygiene products that you need and plan to use. Also, when possible, utilize and purchase products with less packaging. This will help reduce the amount of packaging to recycle or get rid of when you are finished with the product.

Sharing unused or gently used hygiene products with family and friends, or donating them is always a good alternative to give products you no longer want a new home.

Packaging containing personal hygiene products can be recycled. If the product comes in a plastic container, empty and rinse the container before placing it in your recycling bin. If packaging is made out of cardboard, you can flatten it out and recycle it.
