BC Housing, through the RHFP partnership, has acquired two adjacent properties together comprising 3.5 hectares in the District of Sooke for construction of three rental buildings with a total of 170 units valued at $46 million. The land, located at 6418 Sooke Road, is currently owned by BC Housing. The project has received approval and is in the planning phase to determine the conceptual design, engineering and land-use anticipated for the site. Three rental buildings completed in two phases have been proposed on the site with an estimated completion date in 2023. The Regional Housing Trust Fund Contribution is $756,000.
