Join guest naturalist Kem Luther and a CRD Regional Parks
naturalist to discover the strange lives of mosses along the
accessible Elsie King Trail. Learn how to identify the most
common species of Vancouver Island. Bring a handlens/magnifier
if you have one and dress for the weather.
Price is $8/person + GST. You must pre-register as space is limited.
Trail Description: 800m loop with seven benches along the way. Boardwalk and compact gravel surfaces with slight incline. Accessible washrooms available near parking lot. Wheelchair and stroller friendly. We may encounter dogs in our parks. This trail requires all dogs to be on leash.
Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
