Saanich, Francis/King Regional Park
Event Information
Francis/King Regional Park (Saanich)
Join CD Regional Parks naturalists and Power to Be on a guided
roll or stroll exploring the plants and animals of the forest.
Power to Be will be providing two TrailRiders (a mobility device
designed to explore nature) for participants. An inclusive walk
for all ages and abilities, there'll be stops along the way to learn
about who lives in the woods and what they're up to.
There is no fee for this program but you must pre-register
and reserve a TrailRider by October 15, as space is limited.
TrailRiders are based on a first come, first serve basis and
your TrailRider is not confirmed until you have heard from us.
Trail Description: 800m loop with seven benches along the way. Boardwalk and compact gravel surfaces with slight incline. Accessible washrooms available near parking lot. Wheelchair and stroller friendly. We may encounter dogs in our parks. This trail requires all dogs to be on leash.
Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
