East Sooke Regional Park (East Sooke)
Join a CRD Regional Parks naturalist for a west coast exploration
from Aylard Farm to Beechey Head Point. We will explore a piece
of paradise hiking a trail that winds along the ocean, passing
arbutus bluffs and kelp forests along the way. Wear sturdy
footwear, and pack a lunch and water.
There is no fee for this program but you must pre-register
by October 24, as space is limited.
Trail Description: Approximately 4km total distance. A moderate to steep trail in sections with compact soil surface, rocks and tree roots. Two sections of trail are gravel. Accessible washroom available near parking lot and picnic shelter.
Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
