Saanich, Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park
Event Information
Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park (Saanich)
Become a nature super sleuth! Join a CRD Regional Parks naturalist to explore the evidence and investigate clues left behind by animals. You'll even learn to make a plaster cast of an animal track - a fun souvenir you can take home with you. There is no fee for this program but you must pre-register by September 20, as space is limited.
Trail Description: Approximately 1km walk with trail surface ranging from compact gravel to cement driveway to grassy field and compact soil with tree roots. Trails and field may be muddy after rain events. No benches on route. Accessible washrooms available near parking lot and partway through walk at the Equestrian Centre parking lot.
Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
