Event Information
Francis/King Regional Park (Saanich)
Spring has sprung and wildflowers are here! Come for a leisurely stroll or roll with a CRD Regional Parks naturalist and Dr. Ken Marr, the curator of botany at the Royal BC Museum, to see what’s out along the accessible Elsie King Trail. We'll talk all things plants and discover what makes this park so special in springtime.
Meeting place: The Francis/King Nature Centre off Munn Road.
Trail Description: 800m loop with seven benches along the way. Boardwalk and compact gravel surfaces with slight incline. Washrooms available near parking lot. Wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly. We may encounter dogs in our parks. This trail requires all dogs to be on leash.
Please note: We like pets
too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to
attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service
animals are, of course, welcome.
