Metchosin, Devonian Regional Park
Event Information
Devonian Regional Park (Metchosin)
Stroll along with a CRD Regional Parks naturalist and the Habitat Acquisition Trust to learn about the giant gastropod that is one of nature’s best recyclers. You'll find out about our native slug species and how slime helps these slugs survive!
Meeting place: The information kiosk near the parking lot off William Head Road.
Trail Description: 750m loop on compact surface with two bridges. Exposed tree roots and moderate incline in sections. May be muddy after rain events. No benches on route. Accessible washroom available near parking lot. Not stroller friendly.
Please note: We like pets
too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to
attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service
animals are, of course, welcome.
