Event Information

Francis/King Regional Park (Saanich)

We can co-exist with these magnificent forest dwellers. Join a CRD Regional Parks naturalist to learn about the natural history of the black bear through an engaging forest stroll/roll.

Meeting place: The Francis/King nature centre off of Munn Road.

Trail Description: 800m loop with seven benches along the way. Boardwalk and compact gravel surfaces with slight incline. Washrooms available near parking lot. Wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly. We may encounter dogs in our parks. This trail requires all dogs to be on leash.

Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
