Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park (Saanich)
Other animals may not speak or express themselves in the same way as humans, but all creatures need to communicate – they just have different ways of doing it. Come with your friends and family to explore the why and how of animal communication. Be prepared to have some fun as you learn how other animals use sound, action, touch, scent and colour to tell you what’s what.
Meeting place: The nature centre at Beaver Beach parking lot.
Trail Description: Approximately 800m total distance. A wide trail with compact gravel surface leading to a narrower trail with compact soil and trees roots, with a moderate incline. Accessible washroom available near parking lot. Not stroller friendly. Wheelchair accessible.
