The Capital Regional District (CRD) invites qualified individual service providers to submit expressions of interest for the Digital Media Content Specialist.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Request for Expressions of Interest (“RFEOI”) is to select the most qualified individual for the Digital Media Content Specialist.
A contract will not necessarily result from this Request for Expressions of Interest.
The successful proponent may be awarded further work without a competition.
2. Background
The Digital Media Content Specialist will work closely with the Salt Spring Island Economic Development Coordinator to create engaging socio-economic content for opportunity salt spring web blog, updates web content as appropriate. Research, writes six feature articles on topics approved by Community Economic Sustainability Commissioners.
3. Scope of Services
The following services are required:
- Creates dynamic written content
- As appropriate, sources graphics and photos to support content
- Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases awareness of CESC via opportunitysaltspring.ca
- Supports the https://opportunitysaltspring.ca/ website as necessary
- Works as a team member to coordinate sector social media campaigns as appropriate
- Produces regularly reports on audience reach, analytics and success of social media activities.
4. Maximum Budget
$5,000.00, plus GST for 6 web blog features – average hourly rate for this work is $40/hour = $800.00 per feature article, including edits and web tweaks.
