- The Capital Regional District (CRD) invites bids from qualified professional marine construction firms (bidders) for the supply and delivery of goods and services as and when, if required, to support the Integrated Water Services Department (IWS).
- Bids will be submitted by email to Alexandria Zayonc, Purchaser, at azayonc@crd.bc.cauntil bid closes at 3:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, August 25, 2020.

Under the Southern Gulf Islands Harbours Service (SGIHS), there are 13 dock facilities on 6 islands. The facilities are owned by the Capital Regional District (CRD). These facilities provide a vital link to island community residents and visitors by providing moorage, access points for supplies and mail delivery, water taxi points, ambulance service, Royal Canadian Search and Rescue, and refuge in case of inclement weather or emergency.
The work that may be required could be on any of the 6 Islands at the following sites:
- Anson Road Dock (to be constructed), Mayne Island
- Fernwood Dock, Salt Spring Island
- Hope Bay Dock, Pender Island
- Lyall Harbour Dock, Saturna Island
- Miners Bay Dock, Mayne Island
- Montague Harbour Dock, Galiano Island
- Piers Island Dock, Piers Island
- Port Browning Dock, Pender Island
- Port Washington Dock, Pender Island
- Retreat Cove Dock, Galiano Island
- Spanish Hills Dock, Galiano Island
- Sturdies Bay Dock, Galiano Island
- Swartz Bay Dock, Vancouver Island
These facilities are located throughout the SSIH and SGIH service areas and from time to time require Marine Contractor Services.
