The Residual Solids Conveyance Line is a component of the Wastewater Treatment Project which is being built by the Capital Regional District.
The RSCL is comprised of two components: (1) the Residual Solids Forcemain and Centrate Return Line and (2) the Residual Solids Pump Stations and Bridge Crossings.
The CRD invites submissions to this Request for Qualifications from experienced contractors interested in constructing the Project. Based on the Responses, in accordance with the terms of this RFQ, the CRD expects to select a shortlist of up to four Proponents to participate in the Request for Proposals stage of the Competitive Selection Process.
This Project includes construction of four residual solids pump stations along the RSF alignment,two suspended bridge crossings for the RSF, the RSF and CRL interconnecting piping between (1) the RSF and CRL Contract, (2) other Related Projects and (3) the existing Marigold Pump Station. It also includes start-up testing and commissioning of the entire RSCL. Upon completion, the RSCL will convey processed wastewater from the McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant in Esquimalt to the Residuals Treatment Facility at Hartland Landfill. All four pump stations are located within the District of Saanich, the RSF alignment runs through the Township of Esquimalt, the City of Victoria and the District of Saanich, and the CRL alignment runs through the District of Saanich.
