REQUEST FOR QUOTE

Capital Regional District (CRD) invites quotations for the supply and delivery of first aid and safety supplies. Purchase and delivery will be on a non-exclusive “more or less, as and when required” basis with no guarantee of a minimum. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued on behalf of the members of the Greater Victoria Joint Purchasing Group.
This is not a tender, but a call for non-binding quotations.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS

2.1. Submission of Quotation
A copy of the Form of Quotation is enclosed and the quote should be submitted on this form. The completed quotation shall be returned in an envelope clearly marked, “Request for Quote No. 2022-838, Supply and Delivery of First Aid and Safety Supplies” and addressed to:

Or sent by email to: PurchasingIWS@crd.bc.ca

No Quotations may be received by Fax.

2.2. Deadline for Submissions and Inquiries
The deadline for receipt of Quotations is until 2:00:00 p.m. PST, December 6, 2022 (Close). The CRD and GVJPG reserves the right to extend the Close deadline at their sole discretion. Inquiries must be submitted in writing to PurchasingIWS@crd.bc.ca PST at least seven (7) calendar days before Close. Inquiries received within seven (7) days of Close will not be responded to.

2.3. Addenda
If the CRD determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the CRD will issue a written addendum and it will be posted to BC Bid and CRD websites. The addendum(s) will be incorporated into and become a part of this RFQ. Failure to acknowledge and address all addenda in a Submission may render the submission invalid. It is the sole responsibility of the Supplier’s to check BC Bid and the CRD websites for addendum(s) prior to submittal.

2.4. Late Submissions
Quotations received after the Close will not be accepted or considered. Delays caused by any email, delivery, courier or mail service(s) will not be grounds for an extension of the Closing Time.
Quotes received after Close will be returned unopened to the Supplier.

2.5. Withdrawal of and/or Changes to Quotations
Quotations may be withdrawn or amended if notice is received by letter or email prior to the Close. It is the sole responsibility of the Supplier to ensure the amendment is received by the CRD before close.
Quotations received after Close will be rejected.
