The Capital Regional District (“CRD”) invites detailed proposals from consultants (the "Proponents") in strict accordance with these Proposal Documents (CRD, RFP No. 2020-644). The proposals will be evaluated for the selection of a consultant (or consultants) with the intent to enter into a contract (the “Contract”) to provide the services described in Appendix “A”.

The Capital Regional District (CRD), hereinafter referred to as the "CRD”, invites Proposals to complete an Audit-type Dam Safety Review for Deception Dam and a separate Audit-type Dam Safety Review for the Sooke Lake Saddle Dam. Both dams are located approximately 27 km west-northwest of Victoria within the Greater Victoria water supply area. Both the Deception Dam and the Sooke Lake Saddle Dam have a dam failure consequence classification of “Very High”.

The project will consist of three (3) main phases of work: review of available information and data, field review, and evaluation.

Closing Time and Date for Submission of Proposals

The CRD will accept either a hard copy or an electronic submission.
