Sealed Tenders, plainly marked on the envelope "Tender for 2018-370 – Replace Bazan Bay Grit Chamber Isolation Valve” will be received by the Purchaser, Integrated Water Services of the Capital Regional District at their offices at 479 Island Highway, Victoria, British Columbia up to 2:00 pm local time on March 29, 2018, at which time they will be opened in public.

The works to be constructed under this Contract include, but are not limited to, remove and replace the existing isolation valve as per attached Removal and Replacement of Isolation Valve drawing. Excavation and associated piping to be performed during the day and the installation of the isolation valve to be done during the night (during low wastewater flow).

Digital copies of Specifications, Drawings, Contract Documents, and Tender Form will be available for no cost electronic download from the CRD website at after registering as a vendor. Registration is done on the website at no cost. 


The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.


A non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting to inspect the work site will be held at time the intersection of Mainwaring Road and Bazan Bay Road, North Saanich BC on date March 14, 2018 at 9:00 am.
