NOI Title: Core Area Wastewater – Development Cost Charge Project
Capital Regional District

Notice is hereby given that Capital Regional District (the “CRD”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide engineering consulting services for developing a preliminary Development Cost Charge (DCC) program for the Core Area Wastewater (CAWW) service for a term of one-year at an estimated value of $80,000.

Urban Systems Ltd.

CRD has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:
 A consultant with previous experience and detailed knowledge on the CRD’s existing Development Cost Charge program is required to complete this scope of work.
 To maintain consistency in and compatibility with existing Development Cost Charge programs currently under development.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Purchaser by email to PurchasingIWS@crd.bc.ca before 2:00pm Pacific Time, April 22nd, 2022.
