Sealed Tenders, plainly marked on the envelope "TENDER FOR SAANICH PENINSULA WASTEWATER TRUNK SEWER LINING PROJECT 2022/23, TENDER NO. 2022-834" will be received by Alexandria Zayonc, Purchaser, Integrated Water Services of the Capital Regional District Integrated Water Services at their offices at 479 Island Highway, Victoria, British Columbia up to 2:00 pm local time on December 20, 2022, at which time they will be opened in private.
The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following:
Full segment CIPP Rehabilitation of approximately 507m of sanitary trunk sewer and inceptor sewer in the vicinity of the Town of Sidney (Sidney). The assets consist of 600-millimeter diameter segments of wastewater trunk sewer in Sidney from Ocean Avenue to Seventh St. and the installation of new manhole frames and covers.
Proponents may be awarded follow-on work without a competition.
Digital copies of existing Closed-circuit Television (CCTV) footage will accompany the Invitation to Tender (ITT), which will be provided to respondents of ITT 2022-834 by email, or a CRD file sharing interface such as Zendto. The tenderer shall confirm receipt of the ITT documents by email, addressed to Alexandria Zayonc, Purchaser, Integrated Water Services, at the below email address. CRD project manager will then provide the CCTV files to the respondent.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
A pre-tender site meeting will not be held for project. Most of the assets are in public rights of away. Tenderers are recommended to visit the site to ensure that they have satisfied themselves of everything and of every condition that could affect the execution of the work. Tenderers are encouraged to make enquiries to satisfy themselves of the work requirements.
