1 INVITATION TO QUOTE
1.1 The Capital Regional District (CRD) invites quotes from qualified bidders for supply and delivery of forest fuel reduction treatment in the Greater Victoria Water Supply Area.

1.2 Sealed bids should be clearly marked “Quote for TREATMENT OF RITHET NORTH FOREST FUEL REDUCTION CORRIDOR – GREATER VICTORIA WATER SUPPLY AREA ITQ No. 2020-629; Attention: Alexandria Zayonc, Purchasing Agent”.

1.3 Quotes will be received via email to azayonc@crd.bc.ca or via mail to 479 Island Hwy, Victoria, BC, V9B 1H7 until 3:00 pm, PST, September 17, 2020. Quotes received after the closing will not be accepted or considered. Delays caused by any delivery, courier or mail service(s) will not be grounds for an extension of the closing time. Proposals received after the closing time will be returned unopened to the Proponent.

1.4 A mandatory meeting to view the treatment area corridor will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 9, 2020, meeting at the GVWSA Sooke Gate, located at the end of the accessible portion of Sooke River Road accessed from South Shawnigan Lake Road (approx. 1990 Sooke Lake Road).

1.5 Please pre-register to attend the viewing by contacting Marie Robertson, RPF, Supervisor, Watershed Operations at mrobertson@crd.bc.ca prior to 1 p.m. on Tuesday September 8, 2020.
