CALL FOR CREDENTIALS
CAPITAL REGIONAL DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS
DECARBONIZATION OPTIONS STUDY
CFC 11.22.01-01
Background
The Capital Regional District (CRD) is committed to taking a leadership role in achieving regional carbon neutrality and to demonstrate this leadership by reducing the carbon impacts of the CRD’s buildings. The CRD is looking to complete an engineering options study to evaluate the decarbonisation of the operations of the CRD Headquarters (HQ) on 625 Fisgard Street, Victoria with specific regard to the mechanical systems.
The CRD’s HQ is the third largest GHG emitter of CRD-owned-and-operated buildings. This project would help identify the path for the CRD to meet its carbon reduction targets for 2030 as outlined in the 2021 Climate Action Strategy.
This Call for Credentials is to invite statements of credentials from consultant teams having experience in deep energy and GHG-reduction retrofits, building decarbonisation, and net-zero carbon building systems and certification. The purpose of this submission is to select a maximum of three qualified and experienced teams which will then be invited to submit detailed proposals to undertake the engineering options study.
Procurement Process
The CRD is implementing a two-stage procurement process to select the most qualified consultant team for this study. Pre-qualified respondents may be required to undergo an interview by the CRD Project Team.
This is not a proposal call.
Digital submissions only of credentials will be received on or before the “Closing Time”:
Date: Thursday, August 4th, 2022
