Request for Proposal

Awarded to:
Stantec Consulting Ltd

Project Description:
The Capital Regional District (“CRD”) invites detailed proposals from consultants (the
"Proponents") in strict accordance with these Proposal Documents (CRD, RFP No. 2018-400). The proposals will be evaluated for the selection of a consultant (or consultants) with the intent to enter into a contract (the “Contract”) to provide the services described in Appendix “A”.

The CRD requires an assessment of channel characteristics and sediment sources relating to slope and channel stability issues along the lower portions of the West Leech and Leech Rivers and Cragg Creek in the Leech Water Supply Area. There is a specific methodology to be used for the assessment. The project involves walking approximately 12 kilometers of river channel. Access to several stretches of channel will be difficult. The proposal is to set out a sampling strategy and allocation of effort and cost for completing the project and provide one or more sample maps produced for similar projects.

A Contract will not necessarily result from this Request for Proposal (“RFP”).

Note: Addendum No. 1 has been issued and is attached.
