Instructions to Respondents
Introduction
The Capital Regional District (CRD) invites submissions for an expression of interest (EOI) for pre-qualification for supply and installation of an in-lake air diffusion line at Elk Lake. This RFEOI submission will be used to short-list up to four (4) contractors who will be invited to submit quotations to undertake this project. The installation of the in-lake diffusion line is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2022.
Closing Time and Date for Submission of Responses
Responses must be delivered to the Submission Location by the Closing Time. Responses received after the Closing Time will not be accepted or considered. Delays caused by any delivery, courier or mail service(s) will not be grounds for an extension of the Closing Time. Responses received after the closing time will be returned unopened to the Respondents.
Enquiries
All enquiries regarding any aspect of this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) should be directed to the CRD Representative by e-mail. Respondents are encouraged to submit enquiries at an early date and before 14:00 Pacific Time on the day that is 5 Business Days before the Closing Time to permit consideration by the CRD.
The following will apply to any enquiry:
- enquiries to, and responses from, the CRD Representative will be recorded;
- to ensure consistency and quality of information, the CRD may, at its discretion, provide answers to questions relevant to the interpretation of this RFEOI by posting the question and answer on the CRD Business Opportunities website and the BC Bid website; and
- the CRD may, in its discretion, decide not to respond to any enquiry.
Respondents finding discrepancies or omissions in the RFEOI, or having doubts as to the meaning or intent of any provision, should promptly notify the CRD Representative.
Information offered to Respondents in respect of this RFEOI from sources other than the CRD Representative is not official, may be inaccurate, and should not be relied on in any way, by any person for any purpose.
