23/112e - Early Years Program Leader - Panorama Recreation

The Early Years Program Leader is responsible for the planning, implementation and delivery of engaging programming for preschool age children (3-5yrs). Planning, preparing and leading a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, the successful applicant will have a positive impact on the children and families involved, and be an important member of the community recreation team. While ensuring participant safety and wellbeing throughout, the Early Years Program Leader will ensure children are engaged and provided with developmentally and age-appropriate programming that provides opportunities for learning exploring and engaging the environment, building connections with peers, and developing motor and fundamental movement skill. Early Years program opportunities may include cooking and baking, science, or art and physical activity. This position requires an acceptable criminal record check. The applicant/incumbent will be required to undergo a criminal record check in order to work in this position and to report to their supervisor if any criminal charges are laid against them that may be related to their employment in this position.
