23/021e - Day Camp Leader (Spring Break) - Panorama
The Day Camp Leader is responsible for the implementation and delivery of active and engaging day camp programming for school age children. Planning, preparing and leading a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, the successful applicant will have a positive impact on the children and families involved, and be an important member of the community recreation team. The Day Camp Leader will ensure children are engaged and provided with developmentally and age appropriate programming, while ensuring participant safety and wellbeing throughout. The Day Camp Leader will work collaboratively with the Day Camp Assistant.
This is a term position from March 20-31, 2023 with the possibility for continued on-call auxiliary work in Community Recreation for the right candidates.
This position requires an acceptable criminal record check. The applicant/incumbent will be required to undergo a criminal record check in order to work in this position and to report to their supervisor if any criminal charges are laid against them that may be related to their employment in this position.
