Water Conservation Notification Salt Spring & Southern Gulf Islands

The CRD has officially extended the Electoral Areas Water Conservation bylaw beyond its current September 30 end date

Water Restrictions continue on Salt Spring Island and the Southern Gulf Islands

The Capital Regional District (CRD) will officially be extending Bylaw 4492 – Electoral Areas Water Conservation beyond its current September 30 enforcement date.

Due to ongoing drought conditions and concerns with low ground and surface water levels, additional water conservation measures beyond the designated bylaw time frame of May 1 – September 30 are required.

Until further notice, the following systems remain under water conservation measures in accordance with Bylaw 4492.

Stage 3 watering restrictions apply to the following CRD water utility services until further notice:
