Beaver Beach Water Line Replacement

Temporary area closures in Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park near Beaver Beach parking lot until May 31; nearby park facilities and 10km Loop Trail remain open.

Staff are undertaking water line replacement work and installation of services for future electric vehicle charger infrastructure near Beaver Beach in Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park. Work is expected to be complete on May 31, 2024.

Expect intermittent closures within the work area. Beach access and parking lot will remain open. Beaver Beach washrooms expected to remain open with temporary disruptions. In the event of a temporary washroom closure, portable washrooms will be provide on site. Nearest accessible washrooms are located near the Filter Beds parking lot. Temporary traffic flow changes along the east end of Beaver Lake Road and the Elk Lake Drive park entrance may occur, in which case park vehicle access will remain open and flaggers will be on site to guide traffic. Find more information on this project on our Capital Project webpage.
