Curbside Recycling Collection Impacted By Staffing Shortages

The CRD's contractor is making best efforts to complete daily routes but residents may see some delays in service.

The Capital Regional District’s curbside recycling collection program is experiencing service disruptions again this week due to staffing shortages.   

Emterra Environmental, the contractor responsible for collection on the CRD’s behalf, has advised that scheduled collection from Monday, August 8 to Friday, August 12 may be impacted by delays.

Emterra will attempt to recover materials this week where possible. If your recycling is not collected by 9PM, please leave your materials at the curb. 

If your recyclable materials are not recovered within 48 hours of your scheduled collection day, please send your address to crdbluebox@emterra.ca.
