Closure between Luxton and Winter Roads as of August 8; trail users will be detoured via Happy Valley Road.
The CRD will replace two aging pedestrian bridges that span Bilston Creek on the Galloping Goose Regional Trail between Luxton Road and Winter Road in Langford.
As of August 8, 2023, the section of the trail between Luxton and Winter Roads will be closed and trail users will be detoured via Happy Valley Road. Traffic signage and barricades will be erected to inform vehicle traffic of the detour and to help protect cyclists and pedestrians.
Please use caution around equipment and crews, and follow the direction of staff and signage.
