Witty's Lagoon Regional Park (Metchosin)
Join author and mushroom expert Kem Luther for a guided walk to celebrate the plants and lichens of the holidays. We'll wander the trail through the forest and discover whether reindeer moss could really pull a sleigh, if elves would really use an elfin saddle, and what the story is behind Amanita Muscaria and Santa Claus! From exploring the small topic of frost flowers to the big topic of climate change, it'll be a wonderland for all ages to explore.
