Used fuels and oils are hazardous waste as they can contaminate soils and groundwater. These items require proper recycling and/or disposal. Keep them in their original containers and clean up spills using absorbent rags that can also be recycled. Please see these myrecyclopedia sections for further information:

How do I go green?

Only purchase what you need. Cut down on your car use. Want to get out on the water? Consider canoeing, sailing or kayaking. Mow your lawn with a push mower and sweep or rake your yard and driveway.

There is no way to reuse gas or oils, other than returning used oils to the facilities listed below.
