Upcoming Event: Advocates’ Session

The Regional Pedestrian & Cycling Master Plan is beginning to take shape!

Notice of the Next Advocates’ Session: Thursday, September 16, 2010, Ambrosia Event Centre, 638 Fisgard Street.

Drop in between 5pm to 7pm and meet the project team to review the:

Preliminary Regional Bike Network and Pedestrian Areas
Explore some of the ideas for better integrating transit into pedestrian and cycling trips
Review the proposed End of Trip Facilities

Beginning at 7pm until 9pm, there will be a special presentation and workshop with Alta Planning’s Jessica Roberts. She’ll share her expertise on how to build a cycling culture by way of education, encouragement and promotion campaigns.

Refreshments provided. Free bike valet parking available.
