Upcoming Event: Advocates’ Session
The Regional Pedestrian & Cycling Master Plan is beginning to take shape!
Notice of the Next Advocates’ Session: Thursday, September 16, 2010, Ambrosia Event Centre, 638 Fisgard Street.
Drop in between 5pm to 7pm and meet the project team to review the:
- Preliminary Regional Bike Network and Pedestrian Areas
- Explore some of the ideas for better integrating transit into pedestrian and cycling trips
- Review the proposed End of Trip Facilities
Beginning at 7pm until 9pm, there will be a special presentation and workshop with Alta Planning’s Jessica Roberts. She’ll share her expertise on how to build a cycling culture by way of education, encouragement and promotion campaigns.
Refreshments provided. Free bike valet parking available.
