Our Newest Regional Trail
A new bike and pedestrian trail is being constructed largely within the E&N rail corridor. Once complete, this newest addition to the trail system will provide an important link between Victoria and the West Shore.
The E&N Rail Trail is being built in phases. Phase 1 is underway and will provide a 14.3 kilometre continuous route from Esquimalt Road in Victoria to Jacklin Road in Langford using rail trail and cycling lanes on streets. Eventually this trail will stretch from the Johnson Street Bridge in Victoria to Humpback Road in Langford.
The only rail-with-trail in the region, it will form a key part of the regional trail network managed by the Capital Regional District, which also includes the popular Galloping Goose and Lochside regional trails.
