Specific Regulations by Park
Albert Head Lagoon Regional Park
Dogs are welcome in the park, but are not permitted in the bird sanctuary in the estuary.
The estuary provides important habitat for ducks, geese, swans and many varieties of migrating birds.
Please don’t let your dog chase the birds. They need safe and undisturbed feeding, resting and nesting habitat, especially in cold weather.

Between June 1 and September 15, dogs on leash are allowed to pass through but are not allowed to stay in beach or picnic areas.

Devonian Regional Park
Dogs are welcome but are not permitted in Sherwood Creek.
The creek provides important habitat for resident birds and spawning cutthroat trout.
Please don’t let your dog chase the birds. They need safe and undisturbed feeding, resting and nesting habitat, especially in cold weather.

Between June 1 and September 15, dogs on leash are allowed to pass through but are not allowed to stay in the Beaver, Hamsterly, Eagle and Water Ski beaches and picnic areas.

Between June 1 and September 15, dogs are not permitted in beach or picnic areas, except at Tower Point.
