Atlas & Maps (GIS)
The CRD's GIS incorporate over 100 layers from municipal, regional, provincial and federal governments which can be maintained, studied and analyzed together in a visual context. The goal of GIS is to make this information easily informative and easily accessible. Maps and map data are available as Printable Maps in PDF format as well as through an Interactive Map Viewer.

Natural Areas Atlas
The Natural Areas Atlas contains important information on the locations of salmon bearing streams, spawning zones, old growth forests, endangered ecosystems, record-sized trees and shoreline habitats. With colour Orthophoto technology, mapping layers can be imposed over recognisable landscape features.
Harbours Atlas
The Harbours Atlas brings together environmental information pertaining to Portage Inlet, Gorge Waterway, Victoria Harbour, Esquimalt Harbour, Esquimalt Lagoon and the watersheds and urban catchments that drain into them. Users can access information for the intertidal and subtidal areas of the harbours, including the locations of marine flora and fauna, habitats and bird use.
