Fire Protection
What We Do
Volunteers provide the main base for strong fire protection in each Fire Protection area, with committees in various communities coordinating volunteer fire protection. Fire departments often also coordinate with Search and Rescue organizations to provide emergency service on roads and in wilderness areas.
CRD departments provide fire protection within the Regional Water Supply and Regional Parks.
