Residential Care Home Program for youth aged 12-19 yrs. Offers youth with are dealing with Issues of Sexual Exploitation safe and supportive housing. Support Worker attached. Counselling, case management, family mediation, support, education, after care, and Parent’s Support group.

Youth Outreach Operations Teams (YOOTS)

2 teams consisting of a youth worker and a police officer, provide street outreach to the youth in the downtown core. YOOTS are often a first point of contact for youth who are at risk of becoming involved in the Sex Trade, or who wish to exit.

PROSTITUTES EMPOWERMENT EDUCATION AND RESOURCE SOCIETY (P.E.E.R.S.)

Provides various services for persons currently involved in and/or exiting the Sex Trade. Youth, at 19 years of age, could be referred for support and services. Advocacy, education, support group, counselling, outreach services, research, RISE (an employment assistance program), 2nd Chance ( an employment training program).

KIWANIS EMERGENCY YOUTH SHELTER

10 bed co-ed emergency shelter for youth aged 13-18 yrs. Provides crisis intervention to youth and/or their parents.

GIRLS ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM (GAP) and OPTIONS

A small school program for teen girls (aged 15-19 yrs) experiencing difficulty with regular school. Counselling, group support, lifeskills, etc.

Options - For pregnant and/or parenting teens. Daycare. School and counselling.
