We believe that everyone should have an opportunity to participate in recreation activities, and with that, are committed to providing supports and services for community members that work to minimize barriers and encourage participation.

We operate two main facilities, Panorama Recreation and Greenglade Community Centres, and utilize additional spaces throughout the community to accommodate a variety of seasonal programming. Panorama Recreation and Greenglade Community Centres are accessible, with power-operated door entrances, accessible parking and universal washrooms available. Other features include:

  • Panorama Recreation Centre: Hearing loop at main reception area and Fitness Studio
  • Panorama Recreation Centre: Accessible aquatic facility with womens, mens and universal changerooms, lifts for the main pool, leisure pool, hot tub and waterslide, and a gradual ramp entry with railings
  • Panorama and Greenglade: Weight Room have functional training cable machines, NuSteps and recumbent stationary bikes, various free weight and resistance equipment, and Active Hands gripping aids

Committed to making recreation accessible and inclusive, many of our programs can be adapted to meet your needs. If you or your child has a particular inclusion need, please give us a call in advance, and we would be happy to discuss program details and any adaptations or support needed to ensure a positive experience. We appreciate as much advance notice as can be provided.
