About Sooke Bike Park

Bike Park Now Open for the season

The Sooke Bike Park is now open. The health and safety of the public and staff is our top priority. Distancing and abiding by the following measures is your responsibility. Failure to adhere may jeopardize public access to the Bike Park.

To help reduce the spread of COVID-19 you must:

  • Not use the bike park if you are sick
  • Stay home if you have traveled in the past 14 days OR if someone in your household is sick
  • Patrons are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizers to use prior to park use and after touching shared surfaces
  • Do not share equipment
  • Keep 2 metres apart from each other
  • Adhere to bike park codes of conduct

The Sooke Bike Park opened March 2015. This community driven project was made possible through a $75,000 grant from the CRD, through the Active Transportation Innovative Infrastructure Funding Program with SEAPARC, the District of Sooke and the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area as participants. SEAPARC committed additional funding.

The Bike Park includes a pump track and circular hard-dirt surface with hills and jumps. The bike park is designed to entertain and challenge all levels of riders.
