About Sooke Bike Park

Bike Park is now closed for the season.

The SEAPARC dirt jumps are now closed due to seasonal soft wet soil conditions. The valleys between the jumps have become totally saturated with water. The recent rains have made drainage worse with pooling water. These conditions present a hazard as bike tires now form large ruts between jumps. The Bike Park has been standing up well to the weather and the number of riders using it. Our goal is to ensure the Bike Park is both safe and preserved.

The Sooke Bike Park opened March 2015. This community driven project was made possible through a $75,000 grant from the CRD, through the Active Transportation Innovative Infrastructure Funding Program with SEAPARC, the District of Sooke and the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area as participants. SEAPARC committed additional funding.

The Bike Park includes a pump track and circular hard-dirt surface with hills and jumps. The bike park is designed to entertain and challenge all levels of riders.
