What's New at SEAPARC Leisure Complex

With the rising COVID-19 numbers throughout the province, Dr. Bonnie Henry announced a number of measures to control the spread of the virus:

The order is in effect until December 7, 2020 at midnight.

Recreation facilities currently providing approved safe access can continue to operate with certain restrictions. Due to an order update provided by the Provincial Health Office on November 24th, all indoor Group Fitness Classes are temporarily suspended. Updated guidance will be provided from the province to determine how we can safely resume these fitness programs. Should you be registered in any of these programs, SEAPARC will contact you and inform you of the cancellations. All other SEAPARC programs and activities will continue to operate under the current guidelines.

Mask requirements

Masks are now required for everyone in all public indoor settings and workplaces. People who cannot wear a mask or who cannot put on or remove a mask on their own are exempt.

  • Employers are expected to enforce the mandatory mask policy with both employees and customers
  • A customer can be refused entry or service if they do not wear a mask

Spectators

  • No spectators are allowed at any sport activities under the order. The only people allowed to attend sport activities are those that provide care to a participant or player. For example, providing first aid.

Thank you for your support during this challenging time. The health, safety, and wellness of our community is a top priority. We will update our website as more information becomes available.
